J.J. Spaun
2025 U.S. Open Champion
PGA TOUR golfer, J.J. Spaun, is a hard-working, charismatic athlete that shares our values of passion, integrity, relationships, as well as community. We began our partnership in 2020 and continue to capitalize on opportunities to gain exposure for each other. He proudly displays the Amerisure logo on his shirt during every golf event he participates in.
In June 2025, with a 64.5-foot birdie putt on #18, Spaun claimed the 125th U.S. Open Championship at Oakmont, one of golf’s most iconic and unforgiving stages. In addition to his U.S. Open win, J.J. also claimed victory twice at the Valero Texas Open – the first in 2022, and the second in 2026, with an eagle on 17 and par on 18 to secure the win. He has accumulated top 10 finishes over the course of the rigorous TOUR schedule including the FedEx Cup Playoff events – steadily rising in the world ranks year-over-year.
Joe Hooks
The John Shippen 2025 Champion
Joe Hooks is a professional golfer from Detroit, Michigan, currently on the Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tour. Joe spent 18 years attaining success at the junior and amateur levels before turning professional in 2017.
He has captured five mini-tour wins, 16 top-fives and six runner ups on the APGA Tour. In 2025 he won the John Shippen Invitational, earning him an invite to the PGA TOUR’s Rocket Classic in Detroit. In 2026, he received a sponsor exemption to compete again in the Rocket Classic. Joe also serves as Co-Captain for the Grass League team, the Michigan Auto Aces.
Joe has been featured in Random Golf Club’s “Breaking Sawgrass” Series, Firepit Collective’s “The Grind”, PGA TOUR’s “The 2025 Q at Myrtle Beach”.
