Amerisure chooses marketing opportunities with entities that share our values as well as a desire for mutually beneficial relationships. Through sponsorships, cross promotions, and experiential marketing, we continue to elevate our brand through these strong partnerships.

Sponsored Athlete: Professional golfer, J.J. Spaun

PGA TOUR golfer, J.J. Spaun, is a 32- year-old, charismatic athlete that exudes the core values of hard work, perseverance, focus, commitment, as well as service. We began our partnership in 2020 and continue to capitalize on opportunities to gain exposure for each other. He proudly displays the Amerisure logo on his shirt during every golf event he participates in.

The Spaun-Amerisure partnership began during the company’s involvement with the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit and has grown to a relationship lasting multiple PGA TOUR seasons. Amerisure publishes content and media promoting the different aspects of our partnership in addition to creating in-person brand experiences for customers.

Spaun achieved his biggest victory with a 2-shot win at the 2022 Valero Texas Open in San Antonio, TX, which earned him a ticket to the Masters in Augusta, GA.

The Rocket Mortgage Classic

Amerisure has invested in several on-site brand experiences at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, which takes place every summer at the Detroit Golf Club. The tournament was the most awarded PGA TOUR event in 2019 and affords us the opportunity to expose our brand and organizational capabilities to a large audience excited to watch some of the best golf in the world.

The event and its teams also share Amerisure’s passion for community, philanthropy, diversity, and inclusion. We are proud to help support their Changing the Course initiative to end Detroit’s digital divide.

The John Shippen

The John Shippen is an organization that creates opportunities in golf for diverse men and women, through national invitationals, scholarships and fellowships, and otherwise promoting diversity in golf on a national scale. Amerisure sponsors the John Shippen National Golf Invitational, which began in 2020, held just prior to the Rocket Mortgage Classic on its tournament course at the Detroit Golf Club.
