The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For is a program of the MBPA providing the business community an opportunity to gain recognition, showcase their best practice and demonstrate why they are an ideal place for employees to work. The national program celebrates those companies that are cultivating better business, creating richer lives and building a stronger community as a whole.

To be eligible, an employee nominates their employer to receive the achievement. The company’s human resource dept. is contacted to complete an extensive questionnaire regarding policies and practices. Employees are then randomly selected to participate in an anonymous confidential survey about their work environment. The data is submitted to an independent market research firm to examine the surveys and companies receiving the highest points are selected as one of Metropolitan Detroit's 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For.
Recipients of the annual award will be recognized at an event on Sept. 23.
