According to Crain's, the Fast 50 list is based on a ranking of companies in the publication’s database of private and publicly traded companies in two ways: by dollar amount of revenue growth between 2010 and 2013 and by percentage revenue growth during that same period. The two rankings were added together to create the list; the lower the number, the higher the final rank.
Amerisure earned its spot on the list based on the growth the company has seen in recent years.
